The bathroom with a bath or shower feels like a cozy oasis, perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring Chatburn. It's just what I needed as a tired tourist.
I personally preferred the bathroom with a shower. Just my preference, others might love it!

Wow, what a cozy little farm cottage! It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The panoramic view of the valley from the garden was simply breathtaking. And talk about good value for money! We felt like we were getting a real bargain. The host was super friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. And the location was spot on - just a quick drive to the nearby town for some shopping and a short distance to a pub/restaurant down the road. Plus, there were plenty of picturesque towns and villages nearby to explore, as well as great walking and cycling trails. We had a blast!
If there's one thing to mention, it would be the internet situation. The shared internet and boosters meant it wasn't the best for working or streaming at night.

My partner and I recently stayed at Pendleside for a weekend getaway. The location was fabulous, offering a perfect mix of tranquility and convenience. We were able to escape from the hustle and bustle, yet it was only a short 10-minute drive to Clitheroe for some shopping and dining options. The cottage itself was charming and relaxing, with its rustic decor, wooden beams, and a cozy wood burner. The panoramic view from the cottage was breathtaking, and the comfortable beds ensured a restful sleep. We also appreciated the warm welcome from the friendly host, John, and the presence of various farm animals added to the charm of our stay. we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Pendleside and didn't want to leave.
Strongly recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at a charming farm cottage with a stunning view over the valley. The cottage had a rustic feel with wooden beams and a cozy wood burner. The beds were comfortable and the cottage had all the amenities we needed. The location was perfect, offering a peaceful retreat while still being close to the town of Clitheroe for shopping. We enjoyed exploring the picturesque towns and villages in the area, as well as the walking and cycling trails. The host, John, was welcoming and friendly, and we had a great time interacting with the farm animals. I had a wonderful stay at Pendleside and would highly recommend it.
The only drawback I can think of is that the single room had a small bed, more like a cot bed, which may not be suitable for taller individuals. Additionally, the internet signal in the area was not very strong, but this is not a fault of the cottage.

The bathroom with a bath or shower was amazing! It felt like a cozy oasis where I could unwind after a long day of exploring. As someone who loves taking long, relaxing baths, this feature was an absolute dream.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the bathroom with just a shower. But hey, that's just me.

The location of this place is simply fabulous! It's just far enough out to feel like you're away from it all, but only a 10-minute car ride away from Clitheroe for some great shopping. And there's a pub/restaurant just a mile down the road! The cottage itself is oh-so-quaint and comfy, with beautiful wooden beams and a wood burner that adds a cozy touch. The beds are super comfey too! The panoramic view from the cottage is jaw-dropping, and there are plenty of picturesque towns and villages nearby to explore. The host, John, was incredibly welcoming and friendly. Plus, being on a working farm means there are adorable farm animals to keep the kids entertained. We had such a great time here and didn't want to leave.

Quaint cottage with stunning valley view. Close to Clitheroe for shopping, yet feels secluded. Comfy beds and cozy wood burner. Friendly host and working farm atmosphere. Great for families with farm animals.

The location of this cottage is absolutely fabulous, with stunning panoramic views of the valley. It is far enough from the bustling city to feel away from it all, but only a short drive away from shops and restaurants in Clitheroe. the rustic charm of the cottage, with wooden beams and a cozy wood burner, adds to the overall relaxing atmosphere. the comfy beds ensure a good night's sleep, and the cottage has all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay.
One downside is the lack of dedicated internet access in the cottage. Instead, it relies on shared internet with the owner, which can be a bit frustrating for those needing a stable and reliable connection.
